45 students of the
MASHAV course on “Management Policy and Leadership in Nursing” who have
successfully completed all its demands were awarded with Russian-Israeli
certificates on Friday, December 11.
Classes of the course were conducted by
representatives of the Ministry of Health of Israel Ms Ella Koren, RN, MSEd,
PhD and Ms Liora Vesterman RN, MPA.
The audience of the
course included students of the Faculty of Advanced Nursing Education as well
as teachers of the department of theory and practice in nursing and the
department of health care organization
of the Tver State Medical Academy. Participants of the course represented medical
institutions of Tver, Moscow and Tver, Moscow, Tula, and Pskov districts
(oblast).

- What do parents should
know about atopic eczema disseminated
- Alcoholism among
teenagers
- Prevention of pregnancy
among adolescents
In addition to the
course itself Israeli specialists took an active part in the Scientific and
Practical Conference of the Central Federal District of Russia with
international participation «Innovations and information technologies in
diagnostic, treatment-and-prevention, and teaching work of clinics» with
reports in the main opening section and the section of medical philosophy. Also
a number of productive meetings with administrative and academic staff of the
TSMA were held, including meetings and discussions with representatives of the
departments of philosophy, preventive medicine and the centre of distance
learning methods.
The final day of the
course was highlighted by historical visit of the Cultural Attaché of the
Embassy of the State of Israel in Moscow Ms Ilana Stein – first visit of
Israeli diplomatic official to the Tver State Medical Academy. Ms Ilana Stein
gave high evaluation to the course organizational level, discussed its results
and conclusions with the participants, together with the TSMA officials
determined potential directions for future cooperation between the Academy,
MASHAV and scientific and educational institutions of Israel.
