Intensive postgraduate training
course: Basic theoretical and practical ophthalmology for general practitioners
and family doctors.
Target group: postgraduate students,
clinical residents, general practitioners, family doctors.
Purpose of the course: to provide
students with basic knowledge and practical skills, necessary for practicing
GP and family doctors
Objectives and subjects of the course:
modern anatomy and physiology of human visual system; means and
methods of an eye examination; diagnostics and treatment of the most
common eye disorders
The course includes: lectures,
video presentations, practical classes in the department of ophthalmology,
visits to surgery rooms
Type of study: full-time
Duration: 72 hours
Working languages: English, Russian
After passing the final exam all participants
are supposed to receive certificate issued by the Academy.
